Stamat Ivan P.
Dr.Sci.Biol.
Stamat Ivan P.was born in 1950, in 1974 he graduated from the Kishinev State University named after V.I. Lenin and has a degree of a physicist (specialization - theoretical physics).
Since 1975 he works in Federal Scientific Organization Research Institute of Radiation Hygiene after Professor P.V. Ramzaev, first as a senior engineer-physicist, then as a senior researcher, leading researcher and since April, 1999 till the present time - as a chief of natural sources dosimetry laboratory. In 1989 he defended the master's thesis. Стамат И.П. perfectly knows radiation-hygienic research methodology and methods of different controlled objects dosimetry, radiometry and spectrometry. He has expert certificate of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare in the field of organization and carrying out of research and testing in radiation hygiene and quality management system internal control. He is the expert in the National Accreditation System test laboratories accreditation.
Being the expert in the field of population natural irradiation, Stamat I.P. was the co-author at development of basic standard documents SanPiN 6.1.2523 - 09 “Radiation Safety Norms (RSN 99/2009)”, SR 2.6.1.2612-10 “Basic sanitary rules for radiation safety provision” (BSRRSP - 99/2010)”, SanPiN 2.6.1.2800-10 “Hygienic requirements for restriction of population irradiation due to natural sources of ionizing radiation” and a number of other standard legal documents in the field of population radiation safety. Стамат И.П. headed the development of a modern system of instruction and methodology support of population radiation safety at impact of natural radiation sources (over 20 documents), it provides practical application of hygienic norms and requirements.
In 2012 Stamat I.P. defended the thesis for a doctor's degree “System of hygienic requirements for restriction of the Russian Federation population irradiation due to natural radiation sources”. He developed and scientifically proved hygienic specifications regarding the content of natural radionuclides in finishing products and materials, mineral fertilizers, agrochemicals, etc. He suggested classification of mineral raw materials, materials and industrial waste containing natural radionuclides. He developed methodology and hygienic requirements regarding parameters of radiation safety of industrial buildings and facilities, substantiated separate requirements to radiation safety parameters of industrial buildings and industrial environment.
Stamat I.P. is the author and co-author of over 200 publications, including over 30 publications in reviewed editions, he is co-author of a manual and two monographs, he has over 10 copyright certificates and patents for inventions.
It is awarded with the Certificate of Honor of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation.
