
Kaduka Marina V.
Candidate of Biological Sciences
Born in 1968. In 1990 she graduated from chemical faculty of Leningrad Lenin Order - Awarded and Order of Red Banner of Labour State University, the Candidate of Biological Sciences ( 2001).
Since 1990 to November of 1991 she worked in Research Institute of Radiation Hygiene after Professor P. V. Ramzaev after which she was transferred to the Institute’s branch in Novozybkovo ( the relocation zone following the Chernobyl NPP accident ) where she worked from November 1991 to September 1996. Since September 1996 until these days she has been working in the Radiochemical Laboratory of St. Petersburg Research Institute of Radiation Hygiene after Professor Ramzaev. Since February 2008 she holds the position of Laboratory Head.
Kaduka M.V. organizes and conducts the studies of Russian population exposure levels from natural and man-made ionizing radiation sources. She carries out radiation- hygienic expert examination of population’s potable water supply sources. He is the Laboratory Council Member of Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well- Being. Kaduka M.V. has been attested as the Expert in the “ Accreditation System for Laboratories Carrying out Sanitary – Epidemiological Studies and Tests”.
Kaduka M.V. Takes part in radiation – hygienic studies of the Russian regions contaminated by global fallouts, Chernobyl fallouts, in the areas of emergency and peaceful nuclear explosions. She tales the lead in creation of the methodologies for research conduction in the sphere of radiation hygiene. Kaduka M.V. has been also managing the databank on natural and man-made radionuclides content in potable water.
Kaduka M.V. Is the author and the co- author of 110 scientific works among which also are the sanitary rules, methodological instructions, methodological recommendations, measurement methods. Since 2002 until September 2014 Kaduka M.V. Presented 58 reports at the Russian and international scientific symposia, seminars and conferences as well as at the seminars of the inter- regional radiological centers.
By the Order No 152 as of 07. 04. 2009 issued by G. G. Oniszhenko, the Head of Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well- Being she was given the honorable mention for the dutiful and immaculate labor, for her personal engagement in rectification of Chernobyl accident’s consequences and also in connection with Chernobyl disaster Memory Day.
Kaduka M.V. Participated in field research in the Far East Region and in the Pacific Ocean water area in March – April and October 2011 and in September 2012 in relation with Fukushima -1 NPP accident.
By the Letter No 01/14093-1-26 as of 07. 11. 2011 of G. G. Oniszhenko, the Head of Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well- Being she was given the honorable mention for the long service, for the dedication to her occupation and proactive participation in the field work in relation to Fukushima-1 NPP accident.
