Abstract

The evaluation of public opinion on radiation hazard due to consequences of peaceful nuclear explosions “Taiga” in the Perm Territory is being done on the basis of results of polls done among the population opinion leading representative social groups. Respondents know about the peaceful nuclear explosions conducted near the place of their residence many years ago. Radiation hazard for health and level of territory contamination due to these explosions are estimated by them as sufficiently high. Rumors are the first main source of information about explosions for the population of the Perm Territory. Articles on the consequences of explosions published in the mass media are sporadic and contain unbiased information together with unverified information about serious consequences of explosions for the population health.

Abstract
The article presents the results of comparative investigation of morbidity and immunity of liquidators of radiation accidents occurred in South Urals (Kyshtym accident), at Chernobyl NPP and nuclear submarines (NS) consequences. The most evident immunity and health changes were revealed for liquidators of Chernobyl NPP accident (ChNPP). Investigations of Kyshtym accident liquidators revealed long-term immunological losses. Comparison of health indicators of Chernobyl and nuclear submarine accident liquidators reveals the possibility of combined influence of radiation and stress on the immunity and health.

Abstract
The article presents the study of Algiclam influence on the body mass, longevity and incidence of malignant neoplasms for scrub white rats of various gender, exposed in the sublethal doze in the chronic experiment. The study revealed that Algiclam has obvious radioprotecting action on these integral indicators of viability and physical conditions of homoiothermal animals. Obtained experimental results indicates the possibility of Algiclam dietary supplement application for the reduction or prevention of negative radiation injury manifestations.

Abstract
The article presents regulation of radon concentration in the air of dwellings and public buildings in Russia in the historical aspect. It is shown with a specific reference to Saint-Petersburg that implementation of obligatory radiation survey of new buildings has led to the significant reduction of radon concentration in the dwelling air and, consequently, the levels of population exposure due to natural sources.

Abstract
The paper outlines the key elements of the radiation monitoring system at the sites of industrial nuclear explosions in the Russian Federation. The proposed recommendations describe sampling and measurements procedures, registration of the results and their cartographic presentation. The algorithm and formulas for calculating the doses to the critical groups of population are given. The recommendations are proposed, first of all, for practical application by the regional units of the State Sanitary Inspection.

Abstract
The article presents interaction of the Administration of Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-being in the Rostov region and the other Authorities executing radiation control within the territory of the region, as well as with other institutions responsible for supervising of facilities operating with ionizing irradiation sources. Brief characterization of environmental radiation contamination (water, soil, foodstuffs), characterization of facilities operating in the field of ionizing irradiation sources within the region territory, population exposure doses due to the artificial radiation sources (personnel of group A), medical exposure is being presented.

Abstract
The mineral fertilizer, wich have radioactive 228The, are bring into soil for increase of fertility. By biological chain soil-plant-man 228Th enter to man. This may lead to additional irradiation of man and to necessity of control of specific228Th activity in soil. The offered method allow to determine specific 228Th activity in soil.
