Zaredinov Damir A. is the chief radiologist of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the head of Hygiene department of Tashkent Institute Of Postgraduate Medical Education, Doctor of Medical Science, Professor.
Damir Zaredinov is a member of two Dissertation Councils and Hygienic Regulation Potential Unfavorable Environmental Factors Committee of the Ministry of Health of theRepublicofUzbekistan.
He is an expert of Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, an expert of the Commission on radiation and nuclear safety of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, IAEA and The European Union Chemical Biological Radiological and EU CBRN CoE Initiative expert.
Damir Zaredinov was born in Tashkent Region in 1952. In 1974, he graduated from Tashkent Medical University and started to work at the Department of Radiation Hygiene: until 1976 as an intern researcher, 1976-1988 as a teaching fellow, 1988-1989 as an senior teacher, Assistant Professor (1990), Professor (2002). In 1983, passed Ph.D. defense of the thesis «Hygienic characteristics of work conditions in workers of polymetallic mines». In 2001 passed MD defense of the thesis «Hygienic estimation of natural and man-made sources of radiation exposure and doses of population of the Republic of Uzbekistan».
Damir Zaredinov undertook an internship in nuclear centers and medical facilities of theRussian Federation(Moscow,Saint Petersburg),Ukraine, theUSA,England,Sweden,Austria,Iran, andIndia.
Damir Zaredinov is the chief radiologist of the Ministry of Health of theRepublicofUzbekistansince 1997.
Damir Zaredinov participates in teaching and guiding, manage scientific advisory and practical work as a chief specialist. He is an author of a degree course scheme of radiation and military hygiene for sanitary-hygienic faculties of medical institutes, Master's programme in radiation hygiene for students and cadets of department of general medicine of Tashkent Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education.
He is an initiator of international, regional and national meetings, seminars and trainings in area of radiation safety.
Zaredinov Damir A. is a research advisor of two special projects of the Ministry of Health of theRepublicofUzbekistanand a coordinator of four international programs on issue of radiation and nuclear safety.
He manages research work activity. He is the author of more than 230 publications, among them are: the law of RUz «On radiation safety», 16 SanPiNs, 2 state standards, 24 methodical recommendations, 5 VDNKh prospectus, 12 rationalization proposals and qualification profiles of specialist in medical and preventive medicine areas.
He is an author of implementation of distance course in Tashkent Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education. He is a chief of nine regional and six central classes.
Zaredinov Damir A. is an IAEA’s lecturer since 2000.
He is recipients of Award healthcare excellence of theRepublicofUzbekistan.
